Commitment to nature
Recently, the newinterpretive walkways and viewing platforms in the Reserva were inaugurated. This project enhances the experience of exploring and connecting with nature in this large green space in the City.
The walkways extend over the old pedestrian trails, ensuring a safe visit and creating a suitable environment so that elderly visitors, people with disabilities and children can enjoy the reserve.
The structures of the old viewing platforms have been renovated, now providing a more comfortable space for observing and resting along the way.

The decks, built with eucalyptus piling and pinewood, feature signs and information boards along the way, similar to those in National Parks, aiming to standardise criteria and distinguish a square from a reserve.
The new walkway, which crosses the picturesque Laguna de los Coipos, stands as a renovated access point. Its design includes delimited circuits, thus facilitating the visit and the appreciation of different panoramic spots within the natural surroundings.
In addition, the existing viewing platforms have been completely renovated. The structures of these strategic points have been enhanced, offering a more comfortable space for watching and resting along the way.
This project not only transforms the Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur into a more accessible and safer route, but also reinforces the commitment of Buenos Aires to biodiversity preservation and to the creation of public spaces that encourage a connection with nature.

Connect with nature and enjoy a day outdoors in this green lung.
