Thus, this museum, located in Palermo neighbourhood, offers you a journey through the history of Latin-American art.
Gyula Kosice: the pioneer of the future
One hundred years after his birth, the exhibition “Intergalactic” exhibition celebrates the career of the artist Gyula Kosice (Czechoslovakia, 1924 - Buenos Aires, 2016), an experimental artist, sculptor, poet, theorist and one of the best-known creators in Argentina.

His monographic exhibition will take you to a future full of colour and movement, where sculptures come to life and defy the laws of gravity.

Mondongo: tribute to the painter from La Boca
Mondongo is a duo of Argentine artists that have worked in collaboration since 1999, made up by Juliana Laffitte (Buenos Aires, 1974), and Manuel Mendanha (Buenos Aires, 1976). Their production addresses recurrent topics in the history of art, especially work, economy and power.

"Manifestation" is the exhibition with which this duo pays tribute to Antonio Berni, one of the great masters of Argentine art, with a reinterpretation of his masterpiece. With their special aesthetics, Mondongo invites us to reflect on the social and political reality of our time.

John Baldessari: the master of concept
For the first time in South America, MALBA presents a panoramic exhibition dedicated to John Baldessari, one of the pioneers of conceptual art.
Visiting it will allow you to immerse yourself in a world of ideas and visual games, where words and images combine to create works that defy the limits of perception.

Born in National City, California, close to the border between the USA and Mexico, this artist began in the field of painting and shortly afterwards started to incorporate other materials such as photographs and texts, thus questioning the limits of art.

In addition to these temporary exhibitions, during your visit to MALBA you can explore the Colección Costantini, a journey through the history of Latin-American art with more than 220 masterpieces.
The Museum is open from Thursdays to Mondays from 12:00 to 20:00 pm, and on Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 20:00 pm, at Av. Figueroa Alcorta 3415.
