Many urban artists have paid tribute to his work with murals in different places in the city.
If you are a Soda Stereo fan or just passionate about music, you can’t miss the tunnel that pays homage to him in Agronomía neighbourhood. This tunnel, more than 300 metres long, has become a real urban art gallery, where each wall tells part of the history of the leader of Soda Stereo.
A journey through Cerati’s life and work
The murals, made by local artists, invite us on a journey through Cerati's discography. The images on the walls represent albums such as “Ahí Vamos”, “Fuerza Natural” and, of course, the Soda Stereo era. Each work is an invitation to remember songs that marked several generations.

But the tribute goes beyond music. Cerati’s portraits show us his more human, side, his charisma and his talent. Gustavo Cerati was much more than a musician: he was a cultural icon that transcended borders.
A little bit of history
Gustavo Cerati was born in Villa Ortúzar neighbourhood, a few blocks away from Agronomía neighbourhood where the murals are located. He was a fundamental figure of Spanish rock and together with Soda Stereo revolutionized the Argentine and Latin American music scene, leaving a memorable legacy. His lyrics, full of poetry and metaphors, still resound in the hearts of his fans.
The choice of Cerati to name this tunnel was the result of a popular vote in which thousands of neighbours participated, thus showing the love and respect they feel for this musician.
How to get there and what to do
The tunnel called Gustavo Cerati is on Avenida Francisco Beiró, as mentioned before, in Agronomía neighbourhood. To get there you can take the tube, line B, to Juan Manuel de Rosas station and then walk for a few blocks.

Once you get there, we suggest visiting the tunnel from above and stopping at each mural to observe the details. It’s an ideal place to take photographs!
